Kirsty
Davidson's more recent works are largely inspired
by travels through Africa’s East, Uganda, Kenya,
Tanzania, Zanzibar, Malawi and Zimbabwe and the
current state of our countries.
These pieces
are a look at the fragility of our environment
and its inhabitants and when we strip away the
madness we get back to an element of the raw
beauty found in nature.
The simplicity of at the end of the day we need
each other. The possible encounters of these
creatures are a reminder of this that may be far
removed from our daily existence and
thoughts.
