Kirsty Jade Davidson was born in
New Zealand in 1972 and has lived in Melbourne
Australia for over 30 years.
Kirsty has a Diploma in Arts (Interior Design and
Decoration) from Homesglen College of Tafe.
She also studied Interior Design and Architecture at
RMIT , which incorporated Furniture Design,
Architectural photography, Technical drawing,
Exhibition design, Model making and history, Theory
and Technology.
Kirsty spent several years traveling throughout
Europe, Africa and Japan, all of which have hugely
influenced and inspired her work.
Kirsty is self taught and her first significant body
of art work began to take shape in 2004. With
extremely limited exposure, she sold many pieces and
has been commissioned to complete work in Victoria,
NSW and New Zealand. Her paintings have also
featured in publications such as ‘real life’
magazine.
She is a mother of young children and currently
resides in Beaumaris in Victoria, Australia.
